When I witnessed what my husband was doing to our son while I was away from home, I was appalled because he was unaware that a camera had been placed in the room.
I cherished my son and my hubby. We were a happy family, and I never imagined that I would experience such a tragedy.
I became aware of my husband’s changes over time: he grew reclusive and irritated. He started coming home with an awful stench more frequently, and our boy sobbed whenever his father attempted to touch, embrace, or kiss him.
I initially assumed it was just his stubble or his scent, but my discomfort increased. Particularly after a day, my young son said:
– “Daddy is bad.” I’m not in love with him.
I was devastated by those statements. I made the decision to learn more about what was going on in our house while I was away at that point. In order to discover the truth at last, I mounted a camera.
I was appalled to see what my husband was doing to our son while I was away from home after watching the video.
Our boy stayed with his father that day when I went to visit my mother in the hospital, despite the fact that he sobbed and refused to let me go. When I went back over the recordings in the evening, I froze.
Initially, our son was wandering the room attempting to catch my husband’s attention as he was seated on the couch, addicted to his phone. He extended his small hands and showed him toys, but my husband dismissed him angrily.
My husband leaped to his feet and seized the boy by the arms as soon as he began to sob. I watched my son sob even more as he shrank in terror. He shouted at him, shook him by the shoulders, and grabbed him firmly.
My heart broke then and there. I sat motionless in front of the TV, hardly believing what I was seeing, but I knew that I couldn’t continue to be with a man who could abuse our child in such a manner.
I departed with my son the very following day. And the police eventually obtained that recording. My spouse was taken into custody.
