Online Users Slam Tori Spelling, 51, for Wearing Neon Two-Piece Swimsuit at Beach: 'Not a Good Look'

Tori Spelling is receiving backlash from online users for the two-piece swimsuit she recently wore. Many found the look unflattering and cited their opinions that she has used enhancement procedures to achieve her svelte physique. The controversial pics of the star come after she admitted to using weight loss medication.

All dressed up to enjoy a day at the beach in Malibu, California, "Beverly Hills, 90210" star Tori Spelling, 51, was seen having some fun in the sun on Tuesday, July 2. Photos of her splashing around in the water and lounging on the sand in a neon green bikini have prompted a flurry of reactions online from unimpressed people.

Tori's neon swimwear left little to the imagination as it accentuated her slender figure and left her cleavage and rib cage on display. Her bikini bottom also drew attention to her flat stomach and the piercings on the left side of her hip.

Adding some flare to her beach wear, the mother of five accessorized her look with chic sunglasses, a gold necklace, and a body chain wrapped around her midriff.

Apart from taking a dip in the ocean, Tori also took some time to tan with her friend, Laura Rugetti, who sported a zebra-print one-piece and a white wide-brimmed hat.

According to reports, the two gal pals spent over two hours at the beach. Tori's fit physique certainly did not go unnoticed by the public. However, far from praising how great her body looks, many called her out for not achieving her shape naturally and expressed disdain toward her appearance.

"Let's be honest, it's called plastic surgery," remarked a Facebooker in the comment section of a post about Tori's day at the beach. Another agreed and added, "[She] literally has no belly button!"

Writing their comment in all caps, someone else exclaimed, "NOT A GOOD LOOK." Similarly, an Instagrammer echoed, "That doesn't look good." Jumping on the criticism bandwagon, one observer urged, "Sorry girl…use a [cover-up]."

One person who felt particularly strongly about Tori showing off her slim figure, asserted, "She's had many babies. That photo has likely been retouched or she's had work done. This is why other women end up thinking that they don't look ok."

However, amid the criticism, some people came to Tori's defense, gushing over how amazing she looked in her neon bikini. "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Dolores Catania was one person who gave Tori props.

Taking to the comment section of a media outlet's Instagram post about Tori, the TV personality swooned, "She looks amazing." Chiming in with another compliment for the podcaster, an admirer wrote, "This is the best I've seen her look in a really long time."

While Tori may not have used plastic surgery to enhance her figure, as many netizens believe, she has been honest about what she has used to achieve her body type.

As put by Page Six who shared images of Tori at the beach, "#ToriSpelling showed off her slimmed-down figure after confirming she used Ozempic and Mounjaro to shed pounds following the birth of her son Beau."

In April of this year (2024), the "True Tori" talent made the aforementioned confession on her podcast "Misspelling." "I did Mounjaro and everyone admits it now. I tried Ozempic and it didn't work for me," she admitted during the podcast episode.

Ozempic and Mounjaro are diabetic medications used to treat type II diabetes. However, many celebrities have been using them to lose weight.

Explaining her decision to use the meds as opposed to other methods like working out, Tori divulged, "It's a different time, so I don't feel ashamed saying that. I couldn't lose the baby weight … I was lucky enough that with four of my babies, I lost the baby weight afterward."

The 51-year-old also highlighted how fortunate she was before taking the diabetic medications because she doesn't typically enjoy working out or drinking water, but still managed to stay naturally thin before Beau McDermott, one of the sons she shares with Dean McDermott. "My whole life I didn't diet. I was born with really good genes," she previously disclosed.

Tori revealed that the heaviest she has ever weighed was 120 pounds. However, after welcoming Beau, that number climbed up to 160 pounds.

Going to her doctor after saying she struggled to lose weight, Tori said the medical professional had informed her that she couldn't lose weight because of her age; she was 44 at the time.

She claimed that eating protein, working out, and trying different diets didn't work out for her. One day, while getting hormone treatment for menopause at her doctor's office, Tori decided to give weight loss medication a chance.

As mentioned earlier, she switched to Mounjaro after trying Ozempic first and discovering that it did not achieve the results she wanted. However, Tori confirmed that she has stopped using the drug.

"I'm no longer on it but I did lose weight. I haven't been on it since end of January. I did go off of it because I didn't want to lose too much weight," she stated.

Apart from discussing her venture into weight loss medication, Tori Spelling also made it a point to boast about her ability to keep her lady parts intact even after delivering all five of her kids via C-section.
